Obituary for Dorothea M. "Dotty" Venuto (Farraher)

Mrs Dorothea M "Dotty" ( Farraher ) Venuto 57,

Of Brookline died Sunday morning at the Oak Knoll Nursing Home after a long illness.

Born in Waltham she has been a Brookline resident for the past 10 years, having lived in Pennsylvania for 10 years after moving from Waltham.

Dotty was a Graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1978. In her spare time she enjoyed reading Stephen King and scary novels.

Dotty was the daughter of the late Joseph Farraher.

She is survived by her mother Dorothea ( MacDonald ) Farraher, her children Christopher Farraher of Walpole, Joseph Batista of Waltham and Mercedes Batista of Brookline, her siblings Mrs David ( Kathleen ) MacNamara of Greenville, New Hampshire, Ms Maureen Farraher of Waltham, Mrs William ( Peggy ) Moore of Hudson, Buster Farraher and his wife Debbie Farraher of Hudson, her grandchildren, Mady & Christopher Farraher & Xavier Batista, In addition she is survived by Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.

A Service in Celebration of Dotty's Life will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Saturday March 18th at 4:00 p.m. Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours on Saturday in the Mary Catherine Chapel from 2-4 p.m. Interment will be private. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Dotty's memory to the Salvation Army, 33 Myrtle Street, Waltham, Ma. 02453. Parking attendants will be on duty.
