Of Brighton and Belmont passed away, Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Wingate of Weston Nursing Home. She was 79.
Born and raised in Brighton to the late Oliver C. and Josephine L (Lehan) Kershaw, she raised her family in Belmont and moved back to Brighton later on in life.
Arline was a 1955 graduate of St. Columbkille High School and was very active in St. Columbkille Parish serving as a Eucharistic Minister and lector. She worked as an EEG Technician at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for many years.
In her spare time Arline enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, bringing them to Red Sox games, arts and crafts, and spending time at the Brighton Senior Center.
She is survived by her loving children Caroline Daly of San Antonio, TX, Mark P. Atlee and his wife Kelly of Stratham, NH, and Sarah Atlee of Watertown, her brothers Thomas O. Kershaw and his wife Nancy of Belmont, and Richard O. Kershaw and his wife Betty of Belmont. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the Mother-in-law of the late James Daly.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapel, 325 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Arline's life at St. Columbkille Parish, 321 Market St., Brighton, Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Parking attendants will be on duty.
