Of Waltham, passed away, Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at her home. She was 85.
Born and raised in Waltham to the late Placido and Mary (Voner) Arrigo, she was a lifelong resident of Waltham and a 1948 graduate of Waltham High School.
Mrs. Holston worked at New England Telephone in Boston as an administrator for many years. She was a longtime member of the Telephone Pioneers.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoyed bowling, gardening, crossword puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She was the Beloved wife of the late Edward D. Holston, and sister of the late Catherine Fallon, Rose Loynd, Mary Dutcher, Angela Telford, and John Arrigo.
She is survived by her loving children Carol Holston of Waltham, and Edward, D. Holston, Jr. of Southborough. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Elizabeth's life at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 920 Trapelo Rd., Waltham, Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Watertown. Visiting hours will be held prior to the Mass from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Rd. Belmont from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
