Of Stoneham passed away, Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 69.

Born and raised in East Boston to the late Joseph and Olga Luporto, she was a longtime resident of Stoneham.

In her spare time Joann enjoyed painting, baking, cooking, and most of all playing with her grandchildren. She will be missed by her many friends and family members.

She is survived by her loving son Chuck Fresco and his wife Stacey of Framingham, and her sisters Linda Rosato and her husband Nick of Florida and Susan Insalaco and her husband Joseph of Florida, and her cherished grandchildren Sam and Sophie. She is also survived by her best friend Donna Caouette, her life partner Masih Marvasti and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Joann's life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Saturday, March 12 at 3 p.m. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service form 2 to 3 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
