Obituary for Allison M. Eldridge

Of Waltham, passed away at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmington. He was 94.

Born and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, he moved to Waltham when he was 18 years old, where he has resided ever since. He served in the Canadian Air Force.

Allison owned and operated several ESSO Gas Stations and later in his life worked as carpenter for Bentley University for many years until his retirement. He also worked at the Carroll Salvage Yard in Lexington.

In his spare time Mr. Eldridge enjoyed antique cars, working on them and going to shows, he also enjoyed golfing.

He was the cherished grandfather of the late Kevin Boudreau.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Terrano) Eldridge, his devoted children Janet Boudreau and her husband Skip Rochleau of Tewksbury, Stephen Eldridge and his significant other Donald Rondeau of Lowell, and Sharon Eldridge and her husband Carlos Queral of New Mexico, his sister Lorraine Surrette and her husband Bobby of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, his brothers Paul MacDougall and his wife Margaret of Lindsey, Ontario, and Fraser MacDougall and his wife Lola of Halifax, Nova Scotia, his cherished grandchildren Karen Boudreau of Waltham and Brenda Wernick and her husband Sam of North Carolina, and his great grandchildren Gabriella and Kylie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Friday from 9-11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Allison's Life at 11 a.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
